Meet Count Taco
For hundreds of years, Count Taco has lived in an old castle, but there's one thing that makes him very different from every other vampire you've ever heard about. He doesn't drink blood—he drinks the world's hottest hot sauce! The spicier it is, the happier he becomes.
His pantry is filled with bottles from every corner of the world, and he's always searching for the next sauce that's hotter than the last. Most tacos can't handle even one drop, but Count Taco pours it on everything he eats.
His spooky laugh, flowing cape, and sharp fangs may surprise visitors at first, but everyone soon learns he's one of the friendliest members of the Taco Family.
Around Halloween, he loves inviting friends to his castle for scary stories, spicy snacks, and plenty of laughs. Mysterious, kind-hearted, and never far from a bottle of extra-hot sauce, Count Taco is proud to be part of the Taco Family!
Count Taco and the Dragon's Hot Sauce
Every Halloween, Count Taco invited all of the Taco Family to his old castle for an evening of spooky fun.
There were glowing pumpkins, friendly ghosts, funny stories, and enough spicy food to make everyone reach for a glass of water.
This year, however, Count Taco had a problem.
His favorite bottle of Dragon's Fire Hot Sauce was empty.
"This simply won't do," he said with a grin. "Our Halloween feast needs the hottest sauce in the world!"
Legend said that deep inside the Fire Pepper Cave grew a magical pepper that only ripened once each year.
Count Taco grabbed his lantern and set off to find it.
Inside the cave, he discovered a tiny dragon trying to blow fire at the pepper plant, but every little puff only produced a tiny cloud of smoke.
"What's wrong?" Count Taco asked.
"I'm too little," sighed the dragon. "I can't make enough fire to help the peppers grow."
Count Taco smiled.
"Then we'll work together."
The dragon breathed the biggest flame he could, while Count Taco carefully fanned the warm air over the peppers with his cape.
Before long, the magical peppers glowed bright red.
The little dragon cheered.
Together they made a fresh batch of Dragon's Fire Hot Sauce, the hottest sauce Count Taco had ever tasted.
When Halloween arrived, every guest at the castle enjoyed delicious tacos. Most used only one tiny drop of the famous hot sauce.
Count Taco poured nearly half the bottle onto his own taco.
Everyone stared.
Count Taco smiled.
"Perfect!" he declared as little wisps of steam floated from his fangs.
The castle filled with laughter that echoed through the halls long into the night.
Before everyone went home, the little dragon thanked Count Taco.
"You could have taken the peppers for yourself," he said.
Count Taco smiled warmly.
"The best things in life are even better when they're shared with friends."
